Maurizio est un très bon hôte et nous a donné un plan et a ajouté plein de détails et de bons plans restaurants et choses à voir. Il a pris le temps de nous conseiller. L'appartement est très bien situé près des monuments antiques (Colisée, forum latin et autres). Petit marché de produits frais ouvert le samedi et dimanche dans le quartier derrière la résidence, super produits et pas cher. Avons passé un excellent séjour et avons pu nous reposer dans l'appartement de Maurizio car il est situé dans une zone très calme.

Just fabulous! A small and cosy stylishly designed apartment on two levels with its own small garden, facing a green courtyard. The apartment is located in a very quiet district next to the Palatine Hill with a few minutes walking distance to the Mouth of Truth and the Theatre of Marcellus. Nevertheless, there is absolutely no traffic noise, so that you don't have a feeling you're in the middle of a busy city. Maurizio is a great host, always willing to help and organize everything you need. I enjoyed my stay a lot!!! When I come to Rome next time, it will definitely be Maurizio's apartment again!

It has a cute little terrace! The temperature inside the apartment is perfect for a good sleep after a long walking adventure Its quiet and it will make you feel welcome, you will be in close walking distance (10-20 minutes) from beautiful sights like the Colosseum, Fontana Di Trevi, The Vatican City, and others. You will also find a rent-a-bike service in 2 minutes from this home, and the best icecream. It's a romantic place, which will fit best for couples and not only. It was a pleasure for us to drink our tea outside on the terrace. The apartment is an excellent place for your Rome adventures! The location is perfect for exploring the sights of Old Rome. The apartment itself is well-appointed, and Maurizio was very helpful checking us in and giving us advice for our stay.

This apartment is absolutely amazing. I had a wonderful stay here. It's so peaceful and quiet and yet right in the centre of Rome: it's so convenient, being just a 10 minute walk away from the Colosseum, right next to the Roman Forum, a short walk away from Trastevere, a supermarket just 5 minutes away, and Termini station about 10 minutes in a cab. I absolutely loved this place and wholeheartedly recommend it: ideal for couples, or anyone travelling alone - more than that would be a push as it's quite a cosy place. The garden was bliss after a day of sightseeing, and the added bonus is the air conditioning!! (Trust me, you will need air conditioning in Rome!). I had the pleasure of meeting Maurizio twice during my stay. He is a very nice guy and is clearly someone who cares about his guests. He is very professional. He went out of his way to make sure I was OK. The next time I'm in Rome this will be my first choice!

Maurizio was a great host. My girlfriend and I flew to Rome for a long weekend getaway. To start our flight was delayed about an hour, we contacted Maurizio to let him know we were delayed, and he was great about it. Once we arrived at the place Maurizio was very nice and spoke perfect English (which was great as my Italian is not so good). He took time to show us the apartment and even sat down and looked with us on a map where all the main places are and gave a few suggestions on restaurants and pizzerias.
The apartment matched the description perfectly. For 2 people it was perfect. The garden in the back was a great place to sit, enjoy and glass of great Italian wine and relax after a long day of site seeing. The apartment compound is behind a locked door, with walls and shrubbery around the perimeter. It was very beautiful and we felt very safe. The bushes and shrubbery also help dampen nearly all of the city noise. The location for this place is also great, it is about a 10 min walk to the Roman Ruins, 10 min to the Circus Maximus subway stop (which goes straight to the train station), and there is a few restaurants and bars only 2-5 min walk away. We found the Wifi worked great with no problems. The air-conditioning works almost too well, but it can be adjusted easily.
Overall we really enjoyed our experience. We would definitely look to stay here if we ever find ourselves in Rome again.

Très bel appartement bien situé, à 10 minutes à pied de la place Venezia. Les photos correspondent exactement à l'appartement. Nous y avons séjourné pendant une semaine et tout s'est bien déroulé. Cet appartement est idéal pour 2 personnes. La petite terrasse est parfaite pour les repas. Maurizio nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires, c'était super. Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement.

Mauricio hizo nuestra estancia muy cómoda en Roma. Todo estaba perfecto a nuestra llegada y sus atenciones fueron exquisitas. El apartamento estupendo, tranquilo y silencioso. El barrio muy céntrico, en el mejor sitios de Roma. Estuvimos encantados!!! No me imagino otro lugar mejor para quedarse y disfrutar de la ciudad eterna.

3 jours dans ce délicieux petit appartement, au cœur du quartier antique, à 5 minutes du Trastevere, véritable havre de paix. Superbe environnement de jardins, citronniers, orangers, un charme fou.
Tout le confort, internet, bonne literie, appartement très propre.
Quant à Maurizio, charmant, attentionné, qui prend le temps de vous accueillir et de vous indiquer les bons coins de Rome.

My wife, kids and I stayed in Rome at this listing. We were amazed at how central it was. Literally next door to the Pantheon and from there a short walk to most of the key sites. Essential for a somewhat large family.

Maurizio was incredibly responsive to our requests prior to our arrival including a cot for our baby and transfers to and from the airport. He was at the unit to meet us on arrival, walked us through the apartment, pointed out key sites on a map and indicated some good places to eat and get coffee/Gelato. Maurizio was also there to help on our departure. He was terrific!

The apartment was a little more spacious than we expected which is good when the family wants to come back from a long day and relax together.

Overall a great experience and especially important as it was our first use of airbnb.

We had a great time in Rome. Maurizio is a very helpful and friendly host. We had everything we need in the apartment plus lemon and orange trees outside :) Apartment is clean, practical, situated in unique ancient building in city center. It was great to relax in evening after busy day in this cosy, quiet yet central place. Thank you

This place was absolutely perfect for what we needed. We were close by everything and it was literally just a walk or a few bus stops away from any sight seeing. The garden was charming and unique from other places I've rented on Airbnb. It's quiet and tucked away right in the middle of the city. Your own garden in the front was so peaceful. The place itself was a decent size for 2 - 4 visitors. Bed was great, bathroom was great, washer works great. Maurizio was a fantastic host. He wasn't there to check us in but he made sure that the person that did check us in called him immediately upon our arrival so he could speak with us to make sure everything was ok. Maurizio was able to meet us at the end of our visit which was great and he even had a cab waiting for us on our early departure the next morning.

The only negative I can say is that the internet was intermittent and slow, but I'm guessing it's because of the surrounding buildings. WiFi was hard to come by in most areas of Rome.

We had a wonderful stay and I'd recommend this place to anyone! Loved it!

Very nice visit to Rome in large part thanks to our stay in this great appartment. Very much in the center of Rome but at the same time located in a secluded quiet courtyard with your own little garden to relax after a day around town. The apartment has everything you need to spend a couple of days at home away from home! Maurizio is a great host who ensured that our stay was most pleasant. I recommend this appartment to anyone who is looking for great accomodation in Rome!

What a great experience this was! The location is ideal, the owner very helpful, cosy atmosphere, basically everything you need! Bedrooms were very quiet although this place is literally just a few feet away from the Pantheon. We will definitely be back! And if I should win the lottery, I would gladly buy it! :-)

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the apartment The Palatine Garden. The place is ideal, if you want to explore the centre of Rome by foot. The setting is very romantic, nice, clean and quiet. Maurizio Paolini is a very helpful and trustful host. He arranged a pick-up at the airport and were there at the apartment to welcome us. Maurizio also arranged a cab that arrived right on time when we had to return. I give Maurizio Paolini and the apartment my best recommendations.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and located in a very historic apartment complex, just in the historic center of Rome. Maurizio helped us everything and he was always on time whenever we need him. Although the size of the apartment was adequate for me and my wife, it was smaller than we saw via pics (on airbnb.com) and small for 3 adults.

We really enjoyed our stay at Palatine Garden apartments. The place is wonderful and very unique. We had our own private garden!!! Maurizio is a very dedicated and attentive host. We will recomed him to our friends. We had really great time! Thank you Maurizio.

Spacious apparment in one of the best locations in Rome. Ability to walk to most of Romes sights in a comortable timeframe and plenty of restaurants and cafe's on hand.
Living rooms provided us the luxury of being able to seperate ourselves from two teenagers! Lift access is a bonus if travelling from afar with luggage.
The owner/manager is well versed in service and has some great recommendations for food and drink.

We've been 4 nights in this appartment. The location is very good close to the historic centre. The appartment is clean and warm. Maurizio has been waiting to welcome us and he explain a little bit of usefull information of rome. Quite good experience.

Location and size says everything about this apartment. It was a comfortable stay for my family as I had 2 young children (aged 5 and 3). Maurizio, the owner, was very helpful and recommended a few restaurants that we really liked and approved! Most sights were within walking distance and many shops and restaurants were all nearby. We were literally 20 steps away from The Pantheon!

You could not ask for a better location in Rome, everything is in walking distance. The apartment is large and clean and the owner is so helpful and accommodating. This was a lucky find. I would highly recommend staying here, only downside... beds are a little hard and bedspreads could do with updating. However, there is ample room and there was 5 of us! Mr. Paolini went out of his way to allow us to stay in the apartment right up until we had to leave to catch our plane, this helped us beyond words. Lovely man. We would say here again anytime we visit Rome.

My husband and I stayed here with my brother and his wife last year and we are so glad we did. This apartment is in THE BEST location. It is beautifully appointed, so spacious and rooms and extremely clean. There is a large lounge room which was great after a long day exploring Roma, we could all just sit around with cold beers and chat before we headed out again for the evening. We travel to Italy each year and now that we've found this apartment it will be the only place we stay when we go to Roma.

After making the reservation from Australia being met on site on time in Rome by the property manager Maurizio was a great start.With a tired wife and an 8 and 15 year old in tow being assisted with the luggage was unexpected and vqery welcome after a 24 hour flight.The apartment was well appointed and offered light and views into the courtyard from the kitchen and bedrooms . The busy lane below also made great viewing from the dual living areas.Plenty of fresh air with the windows open and silence at night with the double glazed windows doing their job. Best coffee in Rome located in the lane opposite the entry door and I think one of the more honest restaurants Antonios only a few steps away made for a great start to our 6 day stay a refreshing hot shower.
